CAROL DUGAN TO APPEAR ON LIFETIME NETWORK

Image
CAROL DUGAN, MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2012 Earlier this year Carol Dugan/MSNJSA 2012 and REBECCA FORD LANASA/MSFLSA 2012, attended a Zumba convention in Florida.  When Carol read Rebecca's resume on the Senior America national website and discovered that Rebecca was also a Zumba instructor, she decided to email her.  In the months that followed, the two Queens became friends, and began to make plans for the upcoming Zumba convention.  One, in particular, was to wear their crown and banner during convention week.  This created much interest about the Ms Senior America Pageant organization, among the participants.  A representative from the Lifetime Television Network who was covering the Zumba convention,  took their names and invited them to a guest appearance on the Susanne Somers Show.  Since her show originates in California,  the ladies had to go there, so, they were given free airfare and lodging.  Also, they had to sign an agreement to keep their appearance secret

CAROL DUGAN - BECOMES PART OF 2012 SENIOR AMERICA QUEEN'S COURT

The search for "the gracious lady who best exemplifies the dignity, maturity and inner beauty of all Senior Americans" is over, and the winner of the MS SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT 2012, was a California woman.  However, CAROL DUGAN, MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2012, scored enough points to make the 2012 QUEEN'S COURT.  The 5 day Pageant was held during the week of October 7th, at Harrah's Resort Hotel and Casino, in Atlantic City, in the Concert Venue Theater. Carol looked beautiful and stylish, in a pink gown which she modeled in the Evening Gown and Philosophy of Life Catagories.  The graceful train of her gown allowed her to glide effortlessly across the stage.  Among the contestants, hers was one of the few life affirming and uplifting Philosophies of Life that were presented. At the Final Pageant on Thursday Otober 11th, the TOP 10 was chosen.  The judges chose not only the best contestants nationwide, but a group of women  possessing a wide variety

GOOD LUCK TO CAROL DUGAN - MSNJSA 2012!

It's not the dress that makes the person, but the person who makes the dress!  CAROL DUGAN, MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2012 looked stunning and demure in this black gown she wore for the Evening Gown Portion of the  MSNJSA PAGEANT 2012 last June.  Recently, Carol went shopping for her new wardrobe for the MS SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT 2012, with the help of  2 "sisters",  Rebecca Orsatti, MSNJSA 2010, and Johanne Santori, MSNJSA 2006, and MSNJSA State Pageant Director.  Presently, she is keeping  its contents under lock and key and stored in a secret location !   Carol would only say that her new clothes contain the "wow factor" that she hopes will please both the audience and judges. Carol has been doing a tremendous job as Ambassador of Love , wherever she appears throughout the Garden State.  She makes her constituents happy with her songs and speeches of hope.  All of us connected with the MS NEW JERSEY STATE PAGEANT, and her "sisters" in

SUMMER OF 2012 - WRAP UP

Carol Dugan, MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2012, has been very busy this summer, with appearances, parades in the Garden State, and special events in Atlantic City.  Below is a brief recap of her activities, along with the members of the NEW JERSEY CAMEO CLUB, her newly found "sisterhood".   Carol is currently in California, where she and MS FLORIDA SENIOR AMERICA 2012, are the invited guests of the Susanne Somers Show.  They are videotaping a TV show for the Lifetime Network, which will be aired sometime in the fall.  Way to go girl! Classy Carol smiles brightly besides an equally classy convertible that she rode in at the July 4th Smithville parade. Carol received awards, letters and accomodations for her achievement by Local, County, State, and Federal politicians.  Here, she is with Freeholder Frank Formica, President of the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders 2nd District, as he reads the words of her proclamation.      Meanwhi

ATLANTIC COUNTY KEEPS THE CROWN!

Meet CAROL DUGAN , MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2012  After the pageant, photographers flooded the stage to take photos of the new Queen, Carol Dugan, MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2012        This year marked the debut performance of THE GREAT DAMES CHORUS .  The photo above was taken at a rehearsal last March, at the American Legion Post 166, in Lakewood, when the members decided to wear club jackets. Could it be the fresh, salty sea and air, or the proximity to Atlantic City shows, that afford area women the opportunity to become astute students of performance better than women in other parts of the Garden State ?  Whatever the reason, Atlantic County women just "seem to do it better," and the crown remains there for the 3rd year in a row. On Thursday, June 7th, the 42nd MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2012 was held at Harrah's Resort Hotel and Casino, in the Concert Venue Theater, and the winner is ... Carol Dugan! A resident of Ventnor City,

Goodbye, to Dr. Sandra Greco, MSNJSA 2003 & MSSA2003 The Winter months did not not deter the ladies of the NEW JERSEY CAMEO CLUB from making their "appointed rounds." They performed several shows in adult communities and clubs, assisted living facilities and nursing homes, and spread joy with their own very special God- given talents. MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA STATE PAGEANT Director Johanne Santori, has been busy reviewing the applications that have come in, and meeting and interviewing this year's crop of contestants. She is happy to report that the "Class of 2012" has 15 contestants, and all the ladies are so talented and beautiful. Desiree Nigrelli, MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2011, also has maintained a busy schedule of performances, parades and other personal appearances. The GREAT DAMES CHORUS, has rehearsed during February and March, and are sounding great. Director Josephine Araniti is thrilled with their effort, and can't wait for their d

Kudos go once again to our officers, Jo Ann Gordon/Vice President, Dale Maglia/President, Agnes Traschetti/Secretary, and Joan Kaplan/Treasurer, for a great meeting, and for their tireless energy and attention to details that continue to make the NEW JERSEY CAMEO CLUB the best it can be! The MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT has seen much growth during the past 4 years, with JOHANNE SANTORI (and husband Adeo) directing the organization. She revealed a great strategy for the 2012 pageant at the meeting. Delores Puzio, Director, NEW JERSEY CAMEO CLUB SHOWCASE, deserves a round of gratitude for arranging a steady schedule of performances throughout the State. She is affectionately known as our energizer bunny. Desiree Nigrelli, MS NEWJERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2011, has reached the mid-point of her reign. She has been very busy with her many commitments, and she has spread much cheer and good will throughout the Garden State with her lovely smile and voice. The first meeting of the
