  Pageant fever is in the air, as everyone connected with the MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT readies themselves for the annual event to be held at Harrahs Resort in Atlantic City, on Thursday, May 29th in the Concert Venue Theater at 1:00 PM. MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT 2025

Once again women aged 60 and over graced the stage of Harrah's Resort and Hotel in Atlantic City to participate in the MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT, which was held on Thursday, May 29th. There were 12 gracious ladies in the Class of 2025 who came from many parts of the Garden State, all hoping to win this year's crown, but in the end, one woman emerged victorious. Vin Iyer, a resident of Trenton, scored the highest in the 4 judging catagories which include: Evening Gown, Philosophy of Life, Talent and Private Judges' Interview.  Vin is a fitness/dancer instructor, Zumba instructor and jammer, belly dancer and former showgirl at Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Circus, and earned a Master's Degree of Education from Kaplan University.   For her Talent, she did a lively and sensual belly dance that captured the hearts of both the audience and a discerning panel of judges.  Celebrating her ethnic heritage, Vin posed in traditional Indian sari.   T...

Fun Filled July - Cameo Events and a Parade Fit for a Queen

Our Queen Vin Iyer was invited to her first Parade in Smithville, NJ on July 4th. This annual parade is the kick-off not only to summer but to our Ms. New Jersey Senior America's first formal appearance.  Vin was the highlight of the parade, with many spectators who look forward to our presence every year,  and Vin did not disappoint. As in the Miss America tradition, "Show us your Shoes" is what everyone waits for. Our queen was amazed by the crowd embracing her in her beautiful red gown and silver shoes.
