'TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY, FOR THE LADIES OF THE NEW JERSEY CAMEO CLUB

The New Jersey Cameo Club Christmas party was a night to remember.  Seventy fabulous ladies, spouses and their significant others, attended the annual event which was held on Thursday, December 3rd at the Toms River Hotel from 6 to 10 PM.

Kudos go to Chair lady, Jo Ann Gordon/MSNJSA2008, and her committee for organizing such a great evening, filled with delicious food, lively dancing to the music of Steve and Debbie Berger, and fun activities to wile away the hours.

The evening began with a few bittersweet announcements, as was noted by Steve, who played "Time To Say Goodbye", softly in the background.  Outgoing NJCC President, Lyn Gibson/MSNJSA2000, thanked everyone for having had the priviledge of serving as President, and announced that she will travel to Arizona for an extended period of time to stay with family.  Bernadette Dudek/MSNJSA2009, received a going away gift, and tearfully told everyone how hard it was to make the decision to move to South Carolina, because she would be missing her Cameo Sisters.

MSNJSA PAGEANT ADMINISTRATOR & DIRECTOR, Johanne Santori/MSNJSA2006,  thanked  people and committess for their help and support of the Pageant organization, and encouraged all to have a time.

Director Santori introduced QUEEN Sherri McGhie, MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2015 to come up and say a few words.  Her speech was short, but eloquent, and as she expressed her deep gratitude for all the support she has received from her Cameo Sisters.  Afterwards, she entertained with a funny seasonal song.

Jo Ann annouced it was time for the raffle drawing.  There were 2 tables of great prizes, and everyone quieted down in the hope that their number would be called.

Steve Berger provided a variety of great music for everyone's dancing pleasure.  Line dancing is one favorite, in which the ladies danced the electric slide.

Before the evening ended, there was a photo op just for the NEW JERSEY CAMEO CLUB members.  QUEEN Sherri is in the center, sitting next to her Mom, Norma McGhie/MSNJSA1995.

Thanks again, to Jo Ann Gordon/MSNJSA2008, for a wonderful evening ... You dreamt big, and made it happen!
