MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT 2025

Once again women aged 60 and over graced the stage of Harrah's Resort and Hotel in Atlantic City to participate in the MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT, which was held on Thursday, May 29th. There were 12 gracious ladies in the Class of 2025 who came from many parts of the Garden State, all hoping to win this year's crown, but in the end, one woman emerged victorious.

Vin Iyer, a resident of Trenton, scored the highest in the 4 judging catagories which include: Evening Gown, Philosophy of Life, Talent and Private Judges' Interview.  Vin is a fitness/dancer instructor, Zumba instructor and jammer, belly dancer and former showgirl at Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Circus, and earned a Master's Degree of Education from Kaplan University.

For her Talent, she did a lively and sensual belly dance that captured the hearts of both the audience and a discerning panel of judges.  Celebrating her ethnic heritage, Vin posed in traditional Indian sari.

The contestants in the Class of 2025 will truly be remembered for their beauty, talent, and intelligence, making this year's Pageant inspiring as it was entertaining.  They worked enthusiastically with Terry Meade/Pageant Director, and Johanne Santori/Pageant Administrator.  The production number, "Singin' In The Rain," choreographed by Melanie Brough, was very entertaining.  Also, memorable, there was a diversity of talent that included singers, dancers, and poets.

Outgoing QUEEN Lenore Cibelli-Lambert/2024, took her final walk, and presented a slide show of her many activites, appearances during the year, and plaques and awards from New Jersey lawmakers.  For her final performance she sang "Looking Through The Eyes Of Love." Her rendition of the song brought tears to the all those who knew well during the year of her reign.

Vin Iver/MISS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2025 is welcomed by former QUEENS, and together, they will continue the tradition of honoring the "Age of Elegance," and inspire senior americans to be all they can be.

As the newest member of the NEW JERSEY CAMEO CLUB, QUEEN Vin will be a featured performer in Showcases around the State.  Also, she will have a busy schedule of her own, with appearances at parades, fairs and conventions.  In the fall, Vin will reprepresent the State of New Jersey, and compete in the National Pageant for the title of MS SENIOR AMERICA 2025, in October also in Atlantic City.

The 2025 winners are: Anita Broach (Hamilton)/3rd Runner Up; Dale Browndorf (Margate)/2nd Runner Up; Stevi Fore (Burlington)/1st Runner Up; Vin Iyer (Trenton)/MS NEW JERSEY SENIOR AMERICA 2025.

The Pageant also included a variety of guest performers that included: singers Al Lambert, Steve Berger, and Max Valentino. The New Jersey All Star Dancers, under the direction of Betty Jean Pace/MSNJSA2022, and the Grande Dames Chorus, under the Direction of Josephine Araniti/MSNJSA2007, rounded out the afternoon's entertainment.

Kudos to Terry Meade and Johanne Santori for another fabulous Pageant.  The theme "Salute To Hollywood,"  was filled with all the glitz and glamor one would expect of a Vegas or Broadway show. The stage was adorned with gigantic oscar statues at each end, wirh posters of Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart on easels next to them.

Congratulations on a truly inspiring event!
